Württemberg Jäger

Frontrank Württemberg Jäger for bolstering my line infantry in Song of Drums and Shakos. With a Quality of 4+ in addition with the trait Elan and their rifles, they are a serious threat, when in command range of a leader or NCO. If led by one of the latter, they can be activated on a 2+, so three successful activations shouldn't be a problem at all. I have also a Jäger trumpeter (musician), but game-wise he doesn't make much sense. With Q 2+ they regular Jäger doesn't need the support of a group activation. And volley firing with Jäger isn't to my taste. Typically I try to outflank the opponent and attempt to kill the officer or other high priority target, to force a moral test.

The green of their uniform came out definitely to light green, but I quarrel to add a dark green wash, as it could hide the shadows and highlights. Besides, I like the contrast of the black and leaf green areas.

Citadel Fantasy Armies Goblin

I tried to follow the paint scheme of the back of the box illustration and worked with a base colour followed with a 50/50 mix of Vallejo Glaze Medium and GW inks. In my opinion the Goblin and Skaven are the best miniatures of the set. Especially the Skaven are my most favorite plastic Skaven. I have a few of them and use them as a replacement for the ugly miniatures of the Advanced Heroquest base game.
